Cess - H for Haring — The Artphabet

This work is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project developed by digital artist Cess, in which each letter of the alphabet pays tribute to key figures in contemporary art and visual culture.

In this piece, the letter H becomes a tribute to Keith Haring, reinterpreting his iconic visual language based on simplified figures, energetic lines, and high-impact graphic compositions. The typography transforms into a living scene where two characters characteristic of the Haring universe interact, generating a direct, dynamic narrative rich in symbolism.

The figures, built with soft, voluminous shapes, retain the naïve and accessible essence of the artist, but transposed into a contemporary three-dimensional context. The connection between the two characters, united by a central gesture, reinforces recurring concepts in Haring's work such as human relationships, shared energy, and universal communication.

The work has been created entirely through a digital 3D (CGI) process, modeled in an artisanal way with special attention to surfaces, lighting, and the expressiveness of the forms, achieving a balance between graphic simplicity and sculptural volume.

The Artphabet has had wide international repercussion, being disseminated in numerous design, art, and visual culture media, establishing itself as one of the most notable artistic typography projects in the recent digital realm.
