Yves Weiler - Nebuleuse

In Nebula, pictorial matter becomes breath and light. The shades of incandescent red, deep violet and obscure blue clash and fuse in a vibrant movement, evoking both the birth of stars and the torments of the soul.

This work invites a journey at the boundary of the visible and the invisible, where form dissolves into the pure energy of color. The viewer is invited to lose themselves there, to contemplate the creative chaos that precedes every emergence.
Halfway between lyrical abstraction and cosmic exploration, the canvas translates a quest for unity between matter and spirit — an echo of the very dynamic of life and creation.

Because painting space is not merely about representing stars or nebulae.
It is to question our place in the whole.
It is to pay homage to science that measures and explains genesis and matter, to the man who explores or exploits, to philosophy that interrogates, to time that slips by in light-years, to the spatial environment and its debris created by man and finally to question the geopolitical and strategic stakes of the cosmos.

Originating from scientific training in space and trained in painting since adolescence by a professional painter, Yves pursued painting schools, notably in Toulouse where he lives and paints canvases on the cosmos. Between 2021 and 2025, he received the Artistic Merit Certificate from the Luxembourg Art Prize five consecutive years.
