Hermès Pop-Up, a sealed 2018 publication with Actes Sud, a sculptural paper-engineered book by Stéphane Foenkinos with Bernard Duisit, in orange and white, 21.5 × 21.5 cm with a depth of 3.3 cm, France, in as-new condition.
Description from the seller
A rare opportunity to acquire a sealed example of the iconic *Hermès Pop-Up* book, published in 2018 in collaboration with Actes Sud, Paris.
Created to celebrate Hermès’ annual theme “Let’s Play”, this extraordinary publication transcends the concept of a book. It is a sculptural object—where fashion, storytelling and paper engineering merge into a captivating three-dimensional experience.
Within its pages, a selection of the Maison’s most emblematic carré scarf designs is brought to life through intricate pop-up constructions. Each opening reveals a new scene: dynamic compositions, elegant equestrian motifs, and imaginative forms that seem to emerge effortlessly from the page. The craftsmanship is remarkable—every element precisely cut and assembled, creating depth, movement and a sense of wonder.
The text is written by Stéphane Foenkinos, while the paper engineering is the work of Bernard Duisit, a master of the art form, internationally recognised for his refined and complex pop-up creations.
This piece should not be viewed merely as a book, but as a refined design object—one that can be displayed, admired, and appreciated as part of an interior or a curated collection. It embodies the spirit of Hermès: heritage, creativity, and exceptional attention to detail.
This example remains new and unopened, still sealed in its original shrink wrap, preserving the integrity of the work exactly as issued.
Please note that some of the images shown are reference images, as the item itself remains sealed and unopened.
A highly collectible Hermès publication—ideal for lovers of design, fashion, and rare contemporary objects.
