Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage a Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, along with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue that I have ever seen.
All objects have been handmade by me with meticulous craftsmanship.
Parts of the hand finishing are visible, which underline the uniqueness of each object
Hand-finished
Ultramarine blue pigments, produced in an elaborate mixture, absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the remaining light
Hand-finished
Elephant is approx. 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black base
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life. An elementary characteristic of Pop Art is the often trivial objects known from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising. The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me and thus given a new life as "art objects"
