AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one can notice the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century was able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and innumerable artistic events, including TV broadcasts dedicated entirely to him. The artistic work of Maestro Rolfi has been discussed by the most important newspapers and by television and radio stations. Among the most notable events is the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli in Rome in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni, the exhibition at the Dopmiziano museum in Rome, the solo show at Mondadori in Milan, the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi.

The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about 6 years as scenery for the GEO program on Rai 3.

The works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.
