Description from the seller

SILVER BELT BUCKLE WITH CLOISONNÉ ENAMELS – IMPERIAL RUSSIA – 84 TITLE – 19TH CENTURY

Buckle in silver from the era of Imperial Russia, decorated with cloisonné polychrome enamels. The dense and refined decoration features vegetal scrolls and enameled flowers in turquoise, blue, green, red and white tones, created with twisted cloisons typical of 19th-century Russian metalwork.

The two elements of the buckle are connected by their original chain and the locking system is complete and functional.

On the reverse: oval punch “84” corresponding to the Russian silver fineness (875/1000) used before 1917, accompanied by an unidentified master stamp.

Dimensions: 8.5 × 6.5 cm
Condition: good overall condition, enamels well preserved, slight signs of wear on the reverse.

Beautiful piece representative of the Russian craftsmanship in cloisonné enamels.
