Chinese white nephrite jade archers ring, dragon –China- 20th Century
On offer is a top-class Chinese white nephrite jade archers ring. This thumb- or archers ring has a carving in relief all-around of a fire-breathing dragon among fiery clouds. The carved details are of the highest level, as can be seen in the dragon's head and its scales. I have tried to display this in the photos.
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This jade comes from inland China. A fine example, suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.

• Ugsby XP-1 bright light torch
• Mitutoyo absolute-Aos digital caliper
• Inova X5 UV-torch
*Material/color: Thermal conductivity and bright light indicates: Natural pale white nephrite jade. No visible inclusions.
*Origin/provenance: China, inland.
*Weight: 49,3 gram or 246,5 Carat.
*Hardness: No scratching possible, with hardened steel scratch pen.
*UV/ bright light check: No indication of treatment.
*Dating: Second half of 20th Century.
*Size (approx.): Outside diameter: 32,3 mm. Inside diameter: 22,2 mm. Height: 28,7 mm. Thick: 5,4 mm.
*Condition: Very fine “as found” uncleaned condition, without damage!
Will be packed very well and shipped with registered track/trace with insurance. Combined shipping possible
