Meissen Porcelain – limited Composer Series (1978) – 1st quality – with certificate & original box

For sale is a high-quality set of four porcelain plates from the State Porcelain Manufactory Meissen (VEB, GDR, 1978).

The plates depict important composers of music history:
- Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750)
- Ludwig van Beethoven (1770–1827)
- Franz Schubert (1797–1828)
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–1791)

The series is titled “In Memoriam” and fuses classical music history with the venerable porcelain art from Meissen.

Features:
- Original Meissen porcelain with blue swords mark
- 1st quality (no crossed-out mark)
- Limited collectible edition (“limited” marked on the back)
- Fine portrait design with classical relief border
- Elegant gold rim
- Includes original certificate and box

Condition:
Very good collector's condition. No cracks, chips or restorations.
