Artwork by the Belgian painter Floris Jespers (1889-1965). The painter did not indicate a year; it is signed, bottom right. The work was bought more than 30 years ago at a gallery in Utrecht.
It is a village scene in Belgium, a few houses and a small church, and two people living on the street.
Also included with the painting is the book by Louise Fredericq about Floris Jespers.

Het is een dorpsgezicht in België, enkele huizen en een kerkje, en twee personen die op straat wonen. 
Bij het schilderij wordt ook het boek geleverd van Louise Fredericq over Floris Jespers.
