Japanese wooden puzzle box (Himitsu-bako) crafted in the traditional Yosegi-zaiku marquetry technique, likely originating from the Hakone region, Japan.

Decorated with a landscape scene featuring Mount Fuji, pine trees and traditional houses. The sides show geometric yosegi inlay patterns.

The box opens via a sliding mechanism (puzzle system).

Stamped inside: YUKA SE SEI.
