“River Landscape with Bridge” by Dieter Wulff
This moodful landscape painting by Dieter Wulff shows a calm river landscape with a small wooden footbridge, embedded in a wide, open nature. The gently flowing stream draws the eye into the depths of the composition, harmoniously linking the foreground and background.
The balanced color palette of cool blue- and green tones and warm earth colors gives the scene a tranquil, atmospheric effect. Wulff’s characteristic, lively brushwork is especially evident in the moving water surfaces and in the loosely designed vegetation. A striking and decorative work from his mature oeuvre.
Why this work?
This painting impresses with its clear composition and generous format. The harmonious connection of water, landscape and light makes it a particularly effective focal point and an attractive collectible of classical landscape painting.

In the 1980s, Wulff was among the most sought-after artists in his region and was active for decades as a gallerist, teacher and exhibition organizer. Today, his works enjoy a continuously growing demand in the collector market.
