Description from the seller

This silk twill scarf from the Atelier Versace line is an iconic piece that perfectly embodies the house's DNA: the golden Baroque motif on a red background is a timeless classic that recalls the luxury of the 1990s/2000s.

It is a high-end item, from Atelier Versace stamped in the brand's iconic style. Made in lightweight silk twill and finished with hand-stitched edges, of artisanal high quality.

Atelier is the equivalent of Parisian Haute Couture, but with a soul deeply Milanese. The scarf is in silk twill, which is the fabric of choice for Atelier accessories:

Texture: Twill is recognizable by the fine diagonal ridges. It is heavier and more durable than smooth silk (satin), which allows colors (like that vibrant red) to penetrate deeply into the fibers.

Brilliance: Note how the yellow is not a "flat yellow", but almost molten gold. This is only possible thanks to high-definition serigraphic printing techniques typical of Como production (where Versace has always produced its silks). It is part of the Maison's Baroque repertoire:

Acantus Volutes: They echo the temple decorations of Magna Graecia (Gianni's Calabrian roots).
Symmetry: Everything at Atelier Versace is built on perfect symmetry, which conveys a sense of power and royalty to the wearer. Wrap it around your shoulders for a special evening.

Excellent condition: probably never worn.
Height 160 cm, width 43 cm.
Brand: Atelier Versace
Italy, circa 2000.

Care tips:
No direct fragrances, it is natural silk.
How to store it: Do not leave it hanging for months (it could lose its shape). The ideal is to store it flat, folding it gently without crushing it.
Comes with a new box.

Seller's Story

I mainly collect Murano chandeliers thanks to the collaboration with some companies that restore apartments and palaces in Venice. In this way, over time, I have recovered the chandeliers of elegant and often ancient houses in the lagoon and in the nearby areas. Murano glass has an incomparable charm: every piece, even the simplest, has a story hidden in its fragility and its iridescent light.
