Tancredi Fornasetti, L'osservatorio, an original 2026 acrylic painting in the metafysical style, 30 cm by 20 cm, hand-signed, made in Italy.
Description from the seller
Tancredi Fornasetti exhibits in important Italian and international galleries.
Tancredi Fornasetti has developed over the years a very personal alphabet made of geometric elements and elementary signs, which climb and intersect in the architectural reconstruction of an imaginary and alienating reality, to produce landscapes that are personal worlds, certainly inspired by contemporary architecture.
The bold and luminous colors create a three-dimensional effect in space that is often illusory and multi-perspective.
The canvas seems to become fabric, and the application of color is rigorous and almost maniacal, creating quasi-virtual effects even though they are the result of exclusively manual work.
He lives in Rome, his city.
Tancredi Fornasetti’s works are present in numerous private collections around the world.
Artist listed with auction houses and on Artsy.
Signature and date on the back.
