Description from the seller
This superb chintz fabric, “Clarissa,” has long been one of my favourites. Its elegant design features swirling ribbons entwined with bouquets of parrot tulips, hyacinths, auriculas, wild pansies, and more—creating a richly detailed and timeless floral composition.
“Clarissa” is one of approximately ten classic chintzes that have been part of the Colefax & Fowler collection since the early 1930s, and it remains just as popular today as when it was first introduced.
This versatile fabric is suitable for light upholstery, but truly excels when used for lined and interlined curtains, swag and tail drapery, Austrian blinds, and Roman blinds—bringing a refined, traditional English charm to any interior.
For those who are passionate about the classic English country house style, this is a wonderful opportunity to own a genuine piece of design heritage.
For reference, current Colefax & Fowler chintz fabrics typically retail online between £145 and £195 per metre.
