This is an original stencil by the artist MART SIGNED.
The image represents the passage of the work from the external wall to the interior space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside of palaces, houses or museums, completely changing the environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting wall corner is selected and cropped—the one on which the street artist had carried out his external intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cropped, this piece of wall can be transported and placed inside: in homes, in buildings, in museums or in other structures. In this way the work changes its environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and displayed as a true artistic object. All this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the artwork from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.
.
Original stencil art piece (created with authentic materials recovered from the street, a distinctive element that guarantees its uniqueness and character.
Natural imperfections, marks and dents of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they testify to its urban life and reinforce the typical identity of true Street Art.
The artwork is delivered ready to be hung; any framed images are for illustrative purposes only.
The painting is signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing the originality and value of the piece.
