Swiss Pocket Chronometer - J. Missiaen (Brussels)
Precision chronometer of Swiss manufacture for the Belgian market, marketed by the historic firm J. Missiaen in Brussels. A mid-20th-century piece preserved in notable original condition.
Technical Specifications:
Case: Highly resistant chrome-plated metal with a polished finish. Back cover with hinge.
Dial: White enamel in excellent condition. Arabic numerals for seconds (1-60) and a 30-minute register subdial. Inscriptions "Swiss Made" and the distributor's logo.
Hands: Fire-blue steel, classic technique that prevents corrosion and improves legibility.
Movement: Swiss manual-wind mechanical caliber. Features a compensated balance wheel and precision regulator. Movement in view with polished bridges and engraved serial number.
Operation: Single-push crown system and lateral locking pushbutton.
Condition and Accessories:
Aesthetic conservation: Very good, with natural patina from use.
Includes original period brown leather case with signs of wear.
