In a very realistic style, this drawing depicts a naked woman seated, straddling silk sheets and wearing a bondage mask. The unfinished aspect, dear to the artist, leaves room for imagination and the most libidinous fantasies.
The play of light emphasizes every curve of this female figure with finesse; the body appears damp, and a very sensual and erotic atmosphere emanates from the scene.
The pastel treatment gives the work a voluptuous and soft quality.

Verssan finds in pastel a way to own the body through plays of curves, gaps and fullness, of shadows and light by rubbing, blending and blowing the medium onto the paper. The artist treats his subjects using tonalities while playing with the color of the support in warm gray tones, revealing both softness and delicacy but also strength and masculinity.
