POP Gunmetal Steel Pocket Watch - Lepine Style
General Description:
Pocket watch from the late 19th or early 20th century, characterized by its gunmetal finish with contrasting gold details. A sober, functional design, typical of civilian watchmaking of the era.
Technical Specifications:
Case: Black gunmetal-finished steel with bezel, crown, and bow in a gold finish. Hinged rear cover with interior dust guard. The inside of the lid shows maker's marks.
Dial: White enamel over copper. Features Roman numerals for the hours and an outer 0 to 60 scale for the seconds. Includes a subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock.
Hands: Louis XV style in gold-toned metal with filigree work, providing ornamental contrast on the white dial.
Movement: Manual-wind mechanical calibre with brass bridges. Equipped with a lever escapement, bimetallic compensated balance wheel, and a speed regulator with an "Advance/Retard" scale.
Setting time: Lateral push-button system that must be pressed simultaneously while turning the crown.
