Description from the seller
MY MARGARITAS
95 x 70 cm
Acrylic on canvas
My Margaritas builds a scene where the female figure appears surrounded by stacked suitcases and scattered flowers, creating an image associated with displacement, memory, and domestic intimacy. The composition fragments the body, concentrating attention on the clothing, the objects, and the space built around the figure.
The contrast between the intense red tones of the suitcases and the patterned skirt, against the blues and whites of the background and the margaritas, creates an atmosphere that is both vibrant and nostalgic. The flowers appear as a recurring element that softens the geometric structure of the scene and provides visual balance.
The work combines formal synthesis and symbolic narration, using broad fields of color, defined contours, and an almost theatrical organization of space. The suitcases function as a symbol of transit and the accumulation of experiences, while the figure remains still, suspended between departure and memory.
PACKAGING AND AUTHENTICITY
