The artist creates his works away from schools and trends,
In his works one senses the desire to range toward the infinite up to the supersensible.
In this painting, the evanescent materiality makes the difference between black and white coherent, softened by some strokes of light gray and contrasting tones that characterize the difference between dark and light but when mixed together create a particular effect of Lights and Shadows.
Paolo Contin has had a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and since 1980 has worked in the field of fashion and art. Since 1999 he began to exhibit his works; in 2002 his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
