Guy Marineau was the photographer for all fashion shows since the 1970s, for haute couture and notably for Yves Saint Laurent, and then, in the 1980s, for the early fashion shows of these young designers who made that decade a veritable fireworks display.
He was a correspondent for Women's Wear and Vogue US.
Lover and reporter of parties, personalities, and the Parisian nightlife, which earned him today a very fine collection of photographic archives spanning about thirty years, he was one of the very few photographers allowed at the Palace. He continues to cover the shows and events of fashion.
