Silvana Pasini - Iris

This painting depicts the iris, a flower very dear to me. I wanted to render the texture of the petals through bold brushstrokes and spatulate oil paint, making the most of the canvas's textured background. The canvas measures 50 × 40 cm, it is painted also on the sides, ready to be hung. It is shipped with a certificate of authenticity.
