Azure shadows. I learned to love cars at a young age. Until the 1960s they were fascinating to me with their beauty and diversity. I knew their strengths and flaws, even the sound; I can still hear the stale gasoline and the fabric upholstery of the Topolino and the crisp fragrance of burl wood and leather of the most prestigious Alfa Romeo and Jaguar. I wanted to dedicate to them, lost loves, a series of paintings all set on the roads of the Bassa Mantovana, along the Po embankments, between groves, cultivated fields and abandoned houses, loves found again after years of separation. On the painting itself a semi-gloss protective varnish is applied. The packaging is done with the utmost care and shipping is carried out by courier with constant tracking.
