Artist XTC, Title Mc Caviar Black Turquoise Straw, a hand-signed sculpture in Bois, Verre and Plastique from France, edition 14/15, dated 2026, dimensions 24 × 18 × 18 cm, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Black and gold McCaviar cone with its turquoise straw by XTC.
Probably XTC's most iconic work to date, in a black-and-gold version.
A détournement of a McDonald's cone, a future luxurious dish in fast-food form? Not that unlikely!
This is not a cardboard McDonald's cone; it was created from plastic materials and painted by XTC.
The glass cloche is an integral part of the artwork.
Signed and numbered 1/15 on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(The copy sent is not necessarily the one in the photo)
Careful, tracked shipping.
If you buy multiple works, I can manually reduce shipping costs when the works fit in the same package (which is not the case for a baseball bat and a glass cloche, but is the case for an extinguisher and a glass cloche, for example)
In that case, you pay for the first artwork so you can then send me a message via Catawiki, so that I reduce the shipping costs for the other artworks before your other payments, based on the total weight of the shipment and the size of the parcels. My fees are calculated as precisely as possible based on insured shipping costs and packing materials.
All potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the artwork.
