Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
XTC’s Mc Caviar Red Gold Red Straw, a 2026 limited edition sculpture, hand-signed and numbered 15/15, made of plastic, wood and glass with an integrated glass cloche, originating from France and measuring 25 × 18 × 18 cm in excellent condition with COA provided.
Description from the seller
Red and gold McCaviar cone with its white and red straw by XTC.
Probably XTC's most iconic work to date, in red and gold.
A reinterpretation of the McDonald's cone, a future luxurious dish in a fast-food version? Not impossible!
This is not a cardboard McDonald's cone; it was created from plastic materials and painted by XTC.
The glass cloche is an integral part of the work.
Signed and numbered 15/15 on the underside, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The edition in the photo is not necessarily the one that will be shipped.
Careful packaging and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual search has evolved into a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, affiliated with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne or even Caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, combining painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He is inspired, among others, by Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
