Fragment Basquiat by Lasveguix, a 40×30 cm mixed media street art portrait, hand-signed, original edition, created in 2025 in France, sold with frame and directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Posters ripped, spray paint, acrylic, Posca, on a black background in a black frame 40x30 cm
Unique work, straight from the studio. Protected and fast shipping.
Lasveguix doesn’t just paint; he tears, layers, reconstructs. His creations are skins of walls, fragments of urbanity where posters mix with graffiti, where acrylic dialogues with spray and Posca. Each piece is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he feeds his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, one senses the echoes of the great names who shaped urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for torn-poster art, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for word poetry, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for urban pixel, Obey for engaged iconography.
Active in the street art scene for over twenty years, Lasveguix has built a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he has transposed this street heritage into the studio, creating works where movement, time and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Recognized for his singularity, he regularly participates in charity galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire, or SOS Préma. His creations reach record sums there, confirming a unique place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix claims accessible, free, and vibrant art, where every torn piece tells a love story and a message of positivity.
