Six crystal tulip water glasses, handmade in France and dating from 1900–1910, standing 15 cm high with a diameter of 8 cm and a foot diameter of 7.4 cm, likely produced by Baccarat or Saint-Louis before 1936 with no maker’s mark, weighing about 1.5 kg in total.
Description from the seller
Large tulip-shaped crystal water glasses - on the goblet, flat-cut ribs carved inward (13) - the stem is baluster-shaped. This model was produced at the end of the 19th century and is listed in the Baccarat St Louis house catalog in 1903.
Flat foot - master glassmaker’s cut.
Entirely handmade, hence some imperfections.
This model has been developed into wine glasses - tasting glasses - liqueur glasses - Champagne coupes.
By the quality of the crystal and the cutting work, this production can be attributed to Baccarat or St Louis crystal works.
Before 1936, Baccarat and St Louis crystal works produced the same models - the same catalog - no brand - from 1936 they separated and each produced its own models - its own catalogs and each with a mark on every object produced.
These major crystal works have existed since the 18th century - they are recognized worldwide for their excellence - they have over the years transmitted their ancestral know-how.
Height 15 cm - drinking diameter 8 cm - foot diameter 7.4 cm - rib height on the goblet 4 cm.
For a total weight without packaging of 1.5 kg.
