AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

WOW! is a 70 x 100 cm painting by Flavia Delgado that captures the explosive moment of surprise and action at its fullest expression.

The scene, featuring a car in full skid, conveys speed and energy through dynamic lines and a cloud of smoke that envelops the motion. The low, close framing intensifies the sense of momentum, as if the vehicle were about to burst out of the canvas.
The graphic burst of “WOW!” in the background, inspired by comic book language, acts as a visual onomatopoeia that amplifies the emotion of the moment, turning the image into an almost sonic experience.

The vibrant palette —deep reds, electric yellows and deep blues— reinforces the pop character of the work, where each color is designed to have an immediate impact.
WOW! is a celebration of the unexpected, of adrenaline and the instant that disrupts calm, transforming speed into a powerful, attitude-filled visual gesture.

ENVIO:
The work is offered directly by FLAVIA DELGADO, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist herself.
The painting (UNFRAMED) will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipment.

After payment is confirmed, a lead time of three days is required to prepare the piece and ship it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum of up to ten business days.

Seller's Story

I present a pictorial work line strongly linked to illustration and artistic poster design. My works combine the language of classic poster art with the plastic freedom of contemporary painting: flat colors, defined contours, direct scenes, and a clear narrative sense. My work dialogues with the tradition of 20th-century poster art, especially with the universe of Art Deco and European and North American advertising posters, where authors like A. M.. Cassandre, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and Leonetto Cappiello used synthetic imagery and color for visual impact. There are also affinities with European comic graphics and the clear line, from Hergé to modern editorial illustration. In my paintings, I depict interiors, architectures, figures, and travel scenes—such as roads, vintage cars, or landscapes—approached from a graphic perspective reminiscent of posters and illustrated books, but transferred to the realm of painting on paper and canvas. I aim for each image to function like a frame or a narrative poster, capable of suggesting a broader story without needing to explain it.
