Collection of vintage decorative masks, mainly in ceramic and leather, typical of the Venetian tradition and international craftsmanship.
These objects are often used as wall decor accents and include several styles and materials:
Venetian Ceramic Masks
The masks on the left side of the image are typical reproductions of the Venice Carnival in ceramic or glazed porcelain.
Mask with fan decoration (bottom left): It is a classic model often decorated with floral motifs and details in gold leaf, dating from the 1990s.
Small golden mask (top left): Similar to the "Visetto" models, these miniature masks can be made in brass or gilded ceramic.
Ethnic and Leather Mask
Ethnic Mask (top right): This piece seems to be an ethnic or tribal mask, possibly of South American or Mexican origin, characterized by vivid colors and bold features.
Black Leather Mask (bottom right): This is a three-dimensional sculpted leather piece (often called "Leather Art"). These handicrafted pieces, popular in the 1970s and 1980s, often depict faces wrapped in drapery and are typical of production in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic or of French ateliers.
