Time Capsule

"Soul Records" is an original work created with mixed media techniques. The basic painting is oil on wood, to which a micro collage has been added with the original posters of musical legends from the 60s/70s/80s.
I was inspired by a music store with an urban aesthetic that is already difficult to find, inviting you to enter and explore.
In the upper right part I have highlighted Aretha Franklin, one of the legends of soul music.
This painting transports us to a part of the recent history of modern music; The Doors, Lennon, Pink Floyd, Bowie, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, etc. The reproduced posters are the original tour posters, as are the vinyl records.
The painting seeks realism of the scene and to recover these storefront displays that have disappeared.
The painting is ready for installation, framed and varnished for protection.
For transport, a reinforced cardboard box and bubble wrap are used.
It is presented with a certificate of authenticity.

Me he inspirado en una tienda musical con estética urbana que ya son dificiles de encontrar que invitan a su entrada y buscar.
En la parte superior derecha he destacado Aretha Franklin una de las leyendas de la musica soul.
Esta pintura nos transporta a parte de la historia reciente de la música moderna ; Doors, Lennon, Pink Floyd, Bowie, Rollings, Beatles, etc. Los carteles reproducidos son los originales de las giras , al igual que los vinilos..
La pintura busca el realismo de la escena y recuperar estos aparadores ya desaparecidos.
La pintura está lista para su instalacion , enmarcada y barnizada para su protección.
Para el transporte se utiliza caja cartón reforzado y plástico de burbuja.
Se presenta con certificado de obra.
