A gold bar produced by the casting process can be safely held in the hand to feel the high specific weight of 99.99% pure gold, without worrying about damaging the bar or leaving fingerprints. Cast bars have rounded edges and small solidification lines due to the manufacturing process. This makes every Au bar a unique piece.
