The nature of the technique I use makes every piece of the series a unique and unrepeatable work. The dimensions of the work may vary slightly.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted at three quarters by a hollow portion. I consider this work a vindication of the Self against the vicissitudes of existence, but also an innate longing upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the summit is characterized as an ensemble of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
