Description from the seller

Murano glass flower with a silk-covered stem – length 40 cm

This flower is entirely handmade in Murano using the traditional lampworking technique. The master glassmaker uses a colored glass cane, brought to a malleable temperature by the flame of a gas-fueled torch. The glass, once malleable, is shaped and wound around a slim metal support, allowing the desired form to be achieved.

The lampworking technique enables the creation of extremely detailed subjects, such as flowers, animals, and small decorative elements.

In the case of flowers, once the bud and leaves are finished, the piece is inserted by hand onto a silk-covered stem and reinforced with metal wire, so it can be used for arrangements, decorations, and setups.

An original and authentic gift idea, perfect for those who love Venetian craftsmanship.

Fast shipping and secure packaging.

The bouquet photos are for illustration purposes; the auction refers to only one flower: the white rose.
