Joaquim Pancho's original 2023 aquarelle painting Grande Canal in urban landscape on Arches 300 g paper, multicolour with blue and red highlights, signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, framed by dimensions 38.2 cm by 28.5 cm.
Description from the seller
Joaquim Pancho was born in Angola, in 1970, in the city of Luanda, having moved to Portugal with his parents at the age of 5, and currently residing in Cascais.
Autodidact, from a young age he has always shown aptitude for the plastic arts, his painting inspired by 19th-century impressionism, with references to the works of Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Alfred Sisley, Renoir, as well as Joseph Zbukvic, Alvaro Castagnet, Herman Pekel and Amanda Hyatt. He is presently active, seeking in his works to capture the beauty, light and harmony of the landscape.
In 2023, his work was mentioned in ART4ANY magazine no.16, September 2023 edition, with illustrations of some of his works.
On December 5, 2025, he received a certificate of merit at the event Artistas da Europa 2025, held at Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista di Venezia, in Venice, organized by PitturiAmo.
On March 13, 2026, he received a second certificate of merit at the event Prémio Brera 26, which took place in Milan, organized by PitturiAmo.
