Beautiful antique pocket watch signed Jaeger-LeCoultre, Swiss-made, with G.S.T.P military marking on the back, indicating probable use in a military context (World War I or World War II).
The enamel dial features elegant stylized Arabic numerals with a natural patina aged by time. The watch has a small seconds at 6 o'clock and original cathedral-type hands.
The case back is engraved G.S.T.P 231703, which corresponds to a British military marking typically attributed to equipment supplied to troops.
