WORDS SERIES:

Over the course of a year I drafted a series of keywords of particular weight for me, for my life experience. Words that identify me and that, for better or worse, are full of meaning for my person. From here a workshop also arose, conducted at two events in Genoa (see cloudart.biz).

Each canvas features one of these words as its protagonist: seized, broken, reassembled on a dirty background. It is a ritual in which I disintegrate the word and its meaning, redefining its form. From meaning to visual impact. From evil to good. From the word to the form. From the ugly to beauty. And at the center, me, my empty spaces and the dichotomies that tell my story.

Abstract and minimalist, clean lines and the play of light and shadow create a sophisticated and refined atmosphere, perfect for the most exclusive spaces. Rich in interiority and with multiple levels of reading, it lends environments a neat and relaxed ambiance, suitable for meditation and ideal for those who love design.

Fabio Colombo has recently begun collaborations with Italian and Swiss galleries; this painting is sold directly by the artist. Perfect for those who love introspective minimalist style and references to artists such as Franz Kline, Soulages, Scanavino, Munari, Banksy, de Andrè, Moby, Verdier, Pollock (all influences of the Genoa-based artist).

Certificate of authenticity included, stamped and autographed. The canvas is shipped stretched on a frame. The renders and frames are created artificially to offer a view of the work in interior settings.
