“Entre o Silêncio e o Caos” is a contemporary work created by the artist Sergio Manoel.

This piece arises from the contrast between control and rupture. The lines flow like incessant waves, creating a movement that seems to breathe around the central figure. The body folds inward, wrapped by organic forms that blur tissue, skin and shadow.

Black and white eliminates distractions and leaves only the essential: depth, tension and presence. Each stroke was built manually, repetition by repetition, creating textures that change depending on light and the observer’s distance. From afar, the work makes an impact. Up close, it reveals hundreds of small details hidden among the lines.
