Geisha Mafia – Louis Vuitton is a limited edition AI artwork by Pope (1985), a 70 × 50 cm portrait, signed and numbered 1/20, produced in 2026 in France on multicolour paper in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Pope (1985) - “Geisha Mafia” - Louis Vuitton - 50 x 70 cm - 1/20
Original creation by Pope, large format 50 x 70 cm, on Hahnemühle 200 g art paper.
With “Geisha Mafia,” traditional elegance meets the cold codes of modern power: money, luxury, threat, and control. The geisha is no longer a silent or decorative figure here. She becomes an icon of domination, brazen, magnetic, almost dangerous. Fixed gaze, black kimono, golden ornaments, banknotes in hand and precious weapon: everything in the image evokes a calm beauty, yet impossible to subdue.
The work deliberately plays on the contrast between refinement and brutality. Deep black absorbs light, gold imposes prestige, the red of the lips introduces a nearly cinematic tension. Behind the luxurious aesthetics, the image speaks of power, seduction, and money. An imperial geisha, transformed into a contemporary criminal queen, hovering between pop art, fashion, mafia, and wealth fantasy.
Fine Art 12-color print on 200 g Hahnemühle paper, for precise, matte, glare-free rendering, with deep blacks, sharp details, and faithful color reproduction.
Edition limited to 20 copies for 2026.
Signature and numbering integrated directly into the work.
Certificate of authenticity sent by email after the sale.
The work is produced on demand by a professional printing laboratory, then carefully rolled and shipped in appropriate packaging to preserve the print during transport.
Who is Pope?
Pope, co-founder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe driven by a practice of visual arts since childhood, a meticulous attention to detail, and careful visual research.
Through sculptures, paintings, and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes, and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and awed gaze, attentive to both the simplicity and the complexity of the world around him.
Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from currents of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.
Whether as a gift, a keepsake, or part of your personal collection of contemporary art, you will surely find your favorite piece thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his passion for street art (streetart) and pop art (popart) (in limited edition or not), tackling a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drug abuse, luxury brands and haute couture, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, and products of the agro-food and fashion industries (sports, sneakers…).
Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope likes to mischievously twist labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many others.
Dear bidders, our collective makes every effort to clearly detail all information necessary to assess the lot for sale: dimensions, weight, description, and photos... After the sale, no unjustified claims will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
