Oil painting on canvas, a unique work by Le Yack (Alexandre Pelletier), titled Little Bastard - 100% Handmade!, 80 x 60 cm, signed, created in 2023, original edition, from France, sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Oil painting. One-of-a-kind work. Hand-made canvas, oil and acrylic paint. 80 x 60 cm
An American street from the 1950s, paved and gleaming from the rain. A silver Porsche 550 Spyder bearing number 130 is parked along the sidewalk. A young man in a red jacket leans against it, hands in pockets, watching a woman in a dark suit walk away in heels. Behind them, neon drugstore signs, Chevrolets parked, a whole city breathing rock and wet asphalt.
Le Yack paints here an icon — not a portrait, an atmosphere. The Porsche 550 Spyder number 130, nicknamed Little Bastard, has entered the legend of 1950s America. The young man in the red jacket who leans against it could be anyone — or someone specific that everyone recognizes without needing to be named. The woman walking away does not turn back. Perhaps that’s the real subject.
Original oil painting on canvas · Format 80 x 60 cm · Signed by the artist.
Delivery information: The canvas is shipped rolled with no frame, carefully protected by a humidity-protective wrap, placed in a reinforced rigid tube. This shipping method guarantees optimal protection of the artwork during transport. The buyer can have the canvas mounted on a frame by a local framer according to their presentation preferences.
