Meteorito Sericho, a pallasitic iron‑nickel meteorite with olivine crystals, weighs 22 g and originates from Habaswein, Kenya, with Spain listed as the country of origin.
Description from the seller
Sericho Meteorite – Square Slice with Olivine Gemstones
Imposing square-shaped slice from the Sericho pallasite, extracted in 2016 in the Habaswein plains, Kenya. This complete section offers a privileged view of the meteorite's interior in its full extent: a rich concentration of olivine crystals in emerald-green and honey tones, generously distributed through a metallic iron-nickel matrix, which when backlit transform into true gems suspended in cosmic time.
Its unusual square morphology gives it a structured and striking visual presence, uncommon in the world of pallasites where organic forms prevail. With a mass of 24 grams and a sizeable exposed surface, this piece represents an exceptional opportunity for the collector seeking visual impact and scientific rarity in a single specimen. Pallasites account for less than 1% of all meteorites cataloged worldwide.
A monumental collectible piece, where geometry and the cosmos meet.
Includes:
• Certificate of authenticity
• Explanatory booklet
• Display box
