Description from the seller
A street lamp pours its amber sermon into a dim room. In a red velvet armchair sits a woman wrapped in a white fur coat so voluminous that it seems to breathe. She wears oversized sunglasses indoors — the universal armor of someone who has decided not to be recognized today. A hand resting at the temple, provisional, pensive. The Yack understands glamour as a form of melancholy. It isn’t a fashion canvas — it’s a painting about the staging of oneself, the costume one wears when the real face is too exposed. Jack Vettriano would recognize the atmosphere; Le Yack has made it his own.
