This work is another part of my inquiry, attempting to reach the mystery that, for me, underlies Picasso’s entire painting and where it leads me.
There is a need to confront the artist universally regarded as the great master and unravel the very nature of artistic creation.
I consider drawing inspiration from Picasso’s achievements a way to contribute to preserving the tradition.

I aim to move within the act of continually reinventing Cubism and giving it a contemporary feel.
I regularly access parameters I consider recurrent, such as the constant assimilation of past images, playing with others’ language, focusing on old and modern painters.
I feel a constant sense of immersion into the history.
My study and investigation of the Cubist movement, especially the extensive trajectory of Picasso, takes me into unknown territories.
In each painting I try to review the problems and solutions that Picasso posed with Cubism.
Cubism, for me, is a very important movement in the history of art.
