Italian 925 Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Bas-Relief Plaque – Dancing Nymph / Bacchante by Argenti
Beautiful handcrafted 925 sterling silver plaque signed “Argenti”, depicting a graceful semi-nude female figure (nymph or bacchante) dancing on a swing.
The high-relief scene shows her with flowing hair and drapery, surrounded by grapevines and flowers, under a rising sun motif with elegant Art Nouveau ornamental borders.
Hallmarks: Clearly stamped ARG. 925, R (confirmed sterling silver).
Origin: Made in Italy by Argenti (associated with the Mida / Leonardo Argenti workshops).
Period: Late 20th – early 21st century.
The plaque is elegantly presented in a quality burl wood frame with gold-coloured inner trim and white mat, complete with a small silver nameplate at the base.
