Frequency BLACK-on- BLACK is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist, I translate rhythm, pause, and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions generate tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Technique & materials: acrylic paint and Heavy-Gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various spatulas. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only high-quality materials are used: Amsterdam Expert acrylic paints, Liquitex texture pastes – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide hanging frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
