Splendid, almost hypnotic, painting by Carla Horat (1938), titled The Magic Flute, 100 x 120 cm, from 1990. Catalogued work. The work will be shipped with insurance and a catalog about it.
The Painter has exhibited in the world's most important museums and pinacotecas, Paris, Venice, Switzerland, USA, Rio de Janeiro, New York, Egypt, Venice, Barcelona, etc..

Daughter of an artist (her father Theo is a well-known Swiss watercolorist), at five years old she moved to Ticino and later to Verona, where she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts. Since 1981 she has resided in Palermo, where she obtained the chair of printmaking techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts. She has taught at the International School of Graphics of Venice and since 1986 also at the International Center of Graphics of Venice, where she has held courses in burin and etching techniques that are non-toxic. She has directed engraving and painting workshops at several foreign universities: Rio de Janeiro (PUC University), Mexico City (UNAM), Merida (Yucatan, Marista University), Barcelona (Faculty of Fine Arts). Since 2005 she has been dedicating herself particularly to the Artist’s Book.
She has held numerous exhibitions, including in Venice, Palermo, Lugano, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo, New York, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Munich, Nuremberg, Bremen. Of her work have written, among others, Antonello Trombadori, Leonardo Sciascia, Gesualdo Bufalino, Vincenzo Consolo, Enrico Baj.
