The cast bars have a classic square cast-bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over minted bars that the surface is less susceptible to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can be confidently held in the hand to feel the high specific gravity of 99.99% pure gold, without fear of damaging the bar or leaving fingerprints.

Cast bars have rounded edges and small solidification lines by design. This makes every Au bar a unique piece.
