Yoichi 10 years old - Nikka - 70cl

The previous edition of Yoichi single malt, marketed until 2015, comes from Nikka's first distillery, located on the coast of the northern island of Hokkaido in Japan. Since 1934, Yoichi has traditionally produced a single malt with character, lightly peated and with maritime notes. It results from the assembly of bourbon barrels, new oak barrels and sherry barrels made and reworked at the distillery. These are Yoichi bottlings which were voted "best of the best" for the first time by Whiskey Magazine in 2001, thus consecrating Japanese whiskey on the world stage, before the World Whiskey Awards awarded it the title of best single malt in the world in 2008.
