The first image represents the passage of the work from the external wall to the interior space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside buildings, houses or museums, completely changing environment and meaning. In this case, a section of wall deemed most interesting is selected and cut, the one on which the street artist had carried out the intervention on the exterior. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be moved and placed inside: in homes, in apartments, in museums, or in other buildings. In this way the artwork changes environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum one.

The natural imperfections, marks, and dents of the materials are not defects but integral parts of the work: they testify to its urban life and reinforce the typical identity of true Street Art.

The work is delivered ready to hang. Upon the client’s request, it is possible to subsequently proceed with framing.
