Framed by motifs taken from the carpets of nomadic tribes, who settled in the 15th century in Persia, near Shiraz, here are other nomads, migratory birds of the seas and marshes: the teal, the mallard, the‑scaup, the barnacle goose, the heron, the stork, the ibis and their cousins. In step with the seasons, they follow each other or cross paths, alone or in groups, seen from afar, not always arriving, landing here and there, then resuming their journeys, taking with them our dreams of paradisical climates. As they take off, the sky teems. And once again the universe brims with life.
