The colors seem as if they once had order – clear layers, perhaps even a kind of balance. But then everything starts to slide. Lines pull downward, as if they could no longer bear their own gravity. What was once separated merges, tilts, loses its boundaries.

And that is precisely what feels familiar. That feeling when things that seemed stable for a long time suddenly wobble. When control dissolves and something raw, unfiltered becomes visible.

"Color Collapse" is not an end in the classical sense. It is a transition – chaotic, restless, but also honest. A moment when nothing is held anymore and, just by that, something new can emerge.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, forms, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On trips and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe, I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I deal primarily with emotions, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and interspaces that often can only be expressed in color and movement.
I paint with passion. For me it is an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are in the foreground. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting measuring 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher frame sized 150 x 120 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have a craftsman or gallery owner stretch it for you.

This is a handmade original, which the artist has signed on the back and dated by year.

High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on a multiple times white-primed gallery canvas.

Additionally, a varnish was applied to protect the work.

This work is handmade and thus unique!
